Hakubai seats 48 in the main restaurant, in addition
to 3 tatami rooms. Ruth Reichl, while restaurant critic at the NEW YORK TIMES,
described its "rarefied" Kaiseki cuisine as "excellent" and probably "the most
unusual and expensive meal you can eat in New York."
Hakubai serves traditional Japanese favorites at lunch and, during
dinner hours, the distinctive Kaiseki cuisine noted for exquisite presentation
as well as its delicate taste.
We proudly offer:
Prices for a full Kaiseki dinner can
range from $90 to $170 per person. A la
Carte menu is also available.
Chef Special Kaiseki ($150 or $170) is
available.
