Dear Guests,

As of now, we are open and welcoming our loyal guests, to whom we are grateful for their tremendous support.

For 47 years, The Kitano Hotel New York remains the first and only Japanese-owned hotel in New York City. We have always placed great significance on health and safety for our guests and team members, offering our guests a perfect respite from the city that never sleeps, providing maximum comfort, where a good night's rest is virtually guaranteed.

The COVID-19 pandemic has required us to elevate our high standard of cleanliness to an even higher level and institute new Hospitality Protocols for these challenging circumstances. Our management team is conducting cleanliness inspections daily while touring the hotel—public area, guest rooms, Hakubai Japanese restaurant, Jazz at the Kitano, and both kitchens. Our protocols are designed to meet and exceed the health and safety challenges presented by COVID-19 with an unparalleled standard of cleanliness. You can read more details about our Protocols here.

To help you remain healthy our hygiene program has been developed in consultation with our team, public health and safety experts, and global hospitality professionals. Our hotel operating standards over the next few months will include use of sanitizing electrostatic sprayers and the highest cleaning process using disinfectants recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), checking-in with protocols consistent with recommended social distancing guidelines, and sanitizing all surfaces throughout The Kitano Hotel New York.

We want our guests and our associates to know that when the time comes to travel once again, we will be ready to welcome our loyal guests to a safe and clean hotel environment.

We pray that you and your family remain safe and healthy and we will see you all soon.

The Kitano Hotel New York Team
