  • Is photography allowed in MoMA ?

    In a recent policy change made at MoMA, visitors are now allowed to take pictures with cameras and phones without flash in specific galleries for personal, non-commercial use only. Video is not permitted.  They believe they are embracing creativity and keeping up with the times. They promote sharing and social media posts, which brings attention to their art.
  • Is there parking available in the area?

    There are many parking structures near the Museum of Modern Art that offer discounted rates for museum visitors. ICON Parking Lot at 1330 Sixth Avenue (entrances at 94 W. 54 St. and 75 W. 53 St., between Fifth and Sixth Avenues) is:
    Up to 2 hours: $22
    Up to 4 hours: $26
    Up to 10 hours: $32
    Up to 24 hours: $42
    There's an additional $10 fee for oversize vehicles.

    The 1345 Garage on 101-41 W. 54 St. (between Sixth and Seventh Avenues):
    Up to 2 hours: $20
    Up to 4 hours: $24
    Up to 7 hours: $30
    Up to 24 hours: $40
    here's an additional $9 fee for oversize vehicles.
    All tickets must be validated in the Museum lobby.
