Five Centuries of the World's Finest Art Overlooking Central Park

Located on Fifth Avenue's Museum Mile, the Metropolitan Museum of Art contains five centuries of humanity's most significant accomplishments spanning 13 acres overlooking Central Park. With over two million works of fine and rare art from over five centuries, the Met exudes grandeur within the historic and Beaux Arts hallways.
 
Representing all cultures and time periods since 1880, the Met is the largest art museum in the US featuring 17 curated departments. Take an audio tour and get lost in an era ranging from the mummified royalty of ancient times to avant-garde fashion couture from yesteryears.
 
Marvel at the Egyptian Temple of Dendur, the impressive array of European and Asian armor, the Grecian sculptures, medieval art and contemporary photography. Reflect by the fountain in the indoor sculpture garden or pick up some one-of-a-kind souvenirs in the Met's gift shop.

Privileged guests walk the red carpet, enjoys a sit-down dinner, and is treated to live performances from well-renowned artists.
